Wisdom opens the mind, love opens the heart, and truth opens the will.
The mind makes plans,
the heart offers encouragement,
and the will races to put the plans into effect.
Movement is associated with the will, activity, strength and power;
heat is associated with the heart, feelings and love;
and light is associated with intelligence, thought and wisdom.
In order to warm others one has to be warm oneself;
in order to illuminate others one has to be luminous;
in order to vivify others one has to be vibrant.
Don't give away your heart; give only your feelings.
Don't give away your mind; give only your thoughts.
Don't give away your soul; give the love that emanates from it.
Don't give away your spirit; give the beneficial forces that flow from it.
The heart must be pure.
This means that our hearts must be cleansed of all selfish feelings, desires and appetites
that turn it into a swamp of stagnant, muddy waters incapable of reflecting Heaven.
The mind must be bright and shining in order to light up our path.
The soul must be immense, and it is love which makes the soul grow and expand.
When you are full of love you feel capable of embracing the whole universe.
The spirit becomes strong and powerful when it is in communication with its Creator,
the one and only Source of true strength.
